LONG LASTING MEMORY FOAM FEEL is very difficult to obtain in a integral skin cushion. Integral skin is washable, water resistant, and durable construction. Nonslip, is because of the surface feels so soft, yet the buoyancy is med-firm. Combined you don't slip.
GEL LIKE FEEL Without the Hard End Feel. We Have searched almost around the world to find integral skin that would be soft and buoyant and I am glad we did. As a small business it was a enormous task all to give a desk chair the best solution to long hours of sitting pain

Not sure if it helpsIf I could give this 3.5 stars I would. I had bought this for my car seat but it's too wide and won't fit. Also, the cushion/cover is too small for the pad. I have been using it when I sit on the sofa for any prolonged period of time. Not sure if it's helping. I still have significant sciatic nerve pain when try to watch a tv show or a movie.3Great concept but too hardI have chronic back pain and a full time desk job - a very bad mix. I have tried different chairs, positioning, added foot rests, back supports, without relief. I recently read about the benefits of using a wedge cushion on the seat of a chair. By doing so, it aligns your body so that the shoulders stack over the hips, relieving pain. I tried two other wedge cushions before I found the SITTS cushion. They were worthless as the cushions sank to almost nothing once I sat on them (for reference I am 5'3" and 115 lbs.) Then I found the SITTS cushion - it has made a remarkable difference in my comfort during a long day of sitting. I purchased the 4" cushion. I would suggest flipping this cushion to the "wrong" side as the "right" side has a hard edge along the top, which is where you sit. I also purchased the foam topper, which helped soften the cushion a bit, and made it less slippery. Deborah Lee has made a quality product that really works. I have called her for advice on cushions & the topper and she was very helpful and genuinely concerned that I would have the best experience with her product. One warning: do not use this cushion on a wheeled chair for a first time use. It takes some getting used to and the cushion itself is slippery.4Good design, bad chemical odorCushion is one of the more well-designed ones on the market. It definitely helps with alignment during sitting. That said, I do find the sitting area to be too small for wide hips. It is made of a unique material that is easily cleaned and does not degrade as quickly as other cushions. It also is less likely to absorb body odors. The major problem I have with it is the smell of the cushion itself. It gives off a strong chemical odor that has not dissipated with five days of airing. I am very sensitive to chemical odors and cannot tolerate sitting on it for that reason.1I do much better. My company just bought new chairs that do ...I have problems sitting in regular office chairs. My muscles and spine do not align properly when sitting in them. Might have to buy one for home!5Great customer service/ help with leg painI am a postal letter carrier and have to sit and deliver mail half of my day and was unsure what height and firmness would work for me. So I contacted the seller and she was super helpful to explain how I should be using the cushion and was kind enough to let me try three different ones as my postal truck has a seat with a large lip on the side that was causing me leg pain. The seat is great for making me sit properly and relieving the pressure on my legs!5Posture Perfect Wedge SeatI use it for driving. My back is unusual b/c posture needs correcting two ways. This has helped me sit at a tilt for long sitting.(every day)5Very uncomfortableThought this would be the perfect posture enhancement post-sciatica, as my physical therapist had recommended a chair/cushion that elevated my hips a bit. My first and extremely off-putting impression upon opening the packaging was the horrible chemical smell that accosted me It took three washes of the cover to get the smell out, and I let the cushion itself air out in the garage for a couple of months (yes, months). Still smells, though considerably less now. As for comfort, I found the SITTS cushion to be too hard for my taste and I also discovered that after just 30 minutes sitting on it, my legs had fallen asleep. Over the years I have tried inflatable tube shaped supports (ok but started leaking after a while), rolled up towels (hard!), and a couple different ergonomic cushions. I also like that the "integrated skin" over the foam doesn't collect dust, pet hair, etc. And the foam is quite sturdy, but not so hard as to be uncomfortable. Really thoughtfully designed.5Good for meditationI like this cushion for my meditation sits. I also use a more typical wedge type cushion. But this one provides a little more elevation at the rear.One note: i've kept it in my car without much thought as it's a foam cushion. I just noticed that the plastic bear the front top has cracked, undoubtedly because I failed to store it flat. I'm wondering if the front top my crack completely off, so I've deducted one star as it requires a little more care than i realized. But Most people wouldn't be throwing as much stuff on top of it helter skelter as I did.5Wonderful cushionThis cushion is great! I used it on a long road trip and my legs didn't go numb as usual. It lifts your bottom up, helps your posture to be more upright, and helped my legs by reducing the pressure I usually get on the back of my legs (hence the numbness I usually end up with all the way down to my feet). I love this cushion...well worth the buy!5
