- QUALITY This yeast hails from Germany, but is used worldwide. This strain produces beers with a balance of floral and fruity aromas and finishes with a clean flavor.
- FLEXIBLE FERMENTATION SafLager W-34/70 Yeast is a particularly flexible and forgiving yeast strain as it can tolerate warmer fermentations (up to 72 F) without producing noticeable off-flavors. However, this strain does perform best in a fermentation temperature range of 58 - 70 F.
- HOME BREW INGREDIENTS This lager yeast is different from ale yeasts because lager yeasts thrive in cooler fermentation temperatures. Our active dry yeast does not require hydration or a yeast starter to begin fermentation.
