We love the tasteWe've been buying these crackers for years. Go thru a box every 4 days or so. We love the taste. They are made from pecans rather that wheat, which I feel is a healtier option. We buy them 6 boxes at a time at the grocery store until I realized I can order them from Amazon at .80 cent a box cheaper - and that adds up. Great cracker. You won't go back to wheat crackers after trying these.5Really delicious, satisfying crackers.I don't follow a gluten free diet, but I came across these when I was trying to find a cracker that didn't taste to heavy. I'm so glad I picked up a box when shopping once because they're delicious and I've now turned my whole family onto them. The pecan taste is really great, they're perfectly salted and the texture is super satisfying. I love them with cheese - especially a cranberry cheddar I picked up at Aldi. This deal for 6 boxes was a great deal (at the time - we all know Amazon prices can fluctuate madly) and I like that I could stock up easily on what has become a house favorite.5If you love Cheetos and Goldfish snacks, you'll love this even more!This is a great substitute for less healthy, wheat-based, cheese-flavored snacks such as Cheetos, Goldfish and Doritos.I'm not allergic to wheat, but I love these crackers anyway, and I've tried all the flavors. I personally rank them this way in terms of my preference:pecanalmond with a touch of sea salthazelnutregular almondBBQcheddar cheesesmokehousecountry ranchI'm unusual in that I don't rank this at the top, but all the flavors are big winners to me, so my gradations of preference aren't huge.My two crunchy snacks of choice for some time now have been Snyder's Butter Snaps Pretzels and popcorn popped in my Nordic Ware 60120 Microwave Popcorn Popper, but I recently discovered Blue Diamond Nut-Thins, and they've pushed those two treats from the top of my crunch list. In fact, I used to think the Snyder's butter flavor was great, but now in comparison, it just seems bland. The flavor of all of these various Nut-Thins crackers is sublime.In addition, you simply cannot beat this cracker for mouth feel if you like plenty of snap. They are wonderful with dips, but they are so delicious, I actually prefer to eat them plain.At only 8 calories per cracker, Nut-Thins compare favorably to the Snyder mini pretzels I mentioned, which are 5 calories each.Here is a list of the ingredients: Rice flour, almonds, cheddar seasoning [cheddar cheese powder] disodium phospate, salt, maltodextrin, natural cheese flavor, salt, enzymes, yeast extract, xanthan gum, cultured whey, onion, extractive of turmeric, garlic, extractive of annatto, lactic acid, less than 2% soybean oil, potato starch, expeller pressed safflower oil, soy lecithin.Most of these ingredients are self-explanatory, but here is information on some of the ones that are less obvious:Disodium phosphate is disodium hydrogen phosphate (Na2HPO4), a sodium salt of phosphoric acid. It is used commercially as an anti-caking additive and to quicken cooking time in hot cereals such as Cream of Wheat. I did a quick search on it and didn't immediately find anything bad about it.I've seen xanthan gum sold a lot in the spices and baking-supplies section of health food stores. It is used as a natural thickener.The yellow color of the cheddar cheese cracker comes from turmeric, a natural herb that is known for being anti-inflammatory in its effects. Another source of the yellow color is annatto which is derrived from the seeds of the subtropical achiote tree. Like turmeric, its seeds are full of carotenoids (which are very healthy anti-oxidants) of a strong yellow to orange color. Their flavor is described as "slightly peppery with a hint of nutmeg" and "slightly nutty, sweet and peppery."Apparently they use maltodextrin as a sweetener vs. corn syrup which is used in most commercial crackers.I don't see any preservatives listed.The company seems to use essentially all natural ingredients.5I will buy these the rest of my life - please don't ruin the GF version.BEST gluten free crackers and you gave me back my favorite snack! I cannot eat a lot of the brands out there... even if gluten free because they make me ill with canola oil or guar gum or legumes or who knows, but these crackers were perfect. No issues for me and I cannot thank you enough. I love to put a little cream cheese on the crackers and eat them with a side grapes.... I have not been able to eat my favorite snack in nearly a decade. Thank you for giving me back a sense of normal to my life!5My favorite rice crackers!I absolutely LOVE these crackers - so much that I now buy them in bulk! They have the perfect crunch and the perfect amount of salt (just a hint.). Most other rice crackers I've tried have too much salt and a heavier composition. These are light and crispy and include almonds, which makes for a nutty flavor and better after taste. Buying them in a case on Amazon beats my local super market's prices, plus I'm guaranteed to have plenty when my market is out of stock (which is all the time, so I'm not the only one who loves them!). As far as crackers go, these are pretty healthy in my book. 19 crackers for 130 calories and only 2 grams of fat. There's 3 grams of protein and 1 gram of fiber. These are a great alternative to wheat crackers if you're on a cleanse or other restrictive diet. They substitute well for chips, and I love dipping them in guacamole and hummus. Trust me, you'll love them!5Not Keto Friendly... High Carbs!This product is totally deceiving. Description says almond. But the first ingredient is rice flour .These things are carb over load... you might as well eat Ritz crackers because there isn t much difference. Don t believe me? Look at the photos!2I love these crackers!I love these crackers! Not only me, but the whole family enjoys them with any toppings.I love the taste: they do have a hint of "rice" taste but nothing overwhelming comparing to other flavors. just sea salt. I'm buying them on a regular basis because we don't like "flour" based crackers - they just don't taste as good and they go bad/stale because we simply don't want to eat them. But these almond nut-thins are perfect for us.5Tasty snack, without the guiltWe love these crackers. Found them to a be a little more cost effective through the subscribe and save feature on amazon than in Walmart. They re tasty and a healthier snack option. They are light and crunchy - just what you want from a cracker. However, they are lower sodium than most crackers, have 3g of fiber and 3 grams of protein per serving. The taste is neutral enough to each with cheese, peanut butter, hummus, guacamole etc. We can't get enough of them!5Buyer BewareLove these gluten free crackers but my box arrived with three of the five boxes being stale. Checked the expiration dates which were fine and well out into six months. Not sure what happened but these are my favorite crackers which I usually buy at the grocery store. I won t be buying them anymore from Amazon due to this issue which saddens me because the price was definitely better.1
