DANGEROUSWas very easy to assemble but everything else to do with this seat was TERRIBLE. I recently had foot surgery and could not weight beat on that foot...hence ordering the shower seat. There is BARELY any suctioning of the feet and the legs don t want to stay in place and want to buckle. WAY TOO DANGEROUS....I came very close to falling a couple of times. I wouldn t let anyone use this seat thinking it would do the exact same thing to them! We triple checked our assembly according to the instructions that we followed, as well. Would return but no longer have the box 1Garbage! Do not buy!Would leave zero stars if possible. Ordered this for my dad who just had knee surgery. First time using it, my mom was helping him in the shower and he told her it didn t feel stable. So she looked, and noticed the legs were bending. Not even 5 minutes of use and the thing It says there s a 300 pound weight limit, my dad is MAYBE 210 at the very most. My dad is a disabled veteran, and my mother is also disabled. So this could have ended pretty badly had they not realized it was bending right away. Definitely would not recommend buying this product. 1Bruised and sore after chair collapsedI'm very disappointed in this product. After undergoing ankle surgery a shower chair was recommended. I noted that this one seemed a little wobbly on the carpet as we were setting it up but figured that something designed for those who are unable to stand could not possibly be faulty. I placed it in the tub and carefully sat down. (I, too, am under the weight limit so I did not imagine what would happen next). As soon dat down, the seat legs buckled in and I fell backwards in the tub. The only way to get me up was to have several people help me. We found the placing a simple folding chair (like from a card table) was the purfect solution and much more sturdy. Regardless of your weight, this is a poorly constructed item and if you are in a physical state where you need an item like this, I am willing to bet that a big fall is the exact thing that you don't need. 1Product seems sturdy, very easy to put togetherWe Recently moved and have a shower in our new master bathroom with no ledges or seats. I had gotten used to the small corner seat in the shower of our old house. I wanted to get something to not only sit on on occasion, but have something to lift up my legs for ease of shaving. Product seems sturdy, very easy to put together. I like how it is adjustable. We've had it for a few weeks now and it's working out great. 5Not as good as we'd hoped.The chair legs were so wide, they don't fit correctly in a standard sized bathtub. We can only use it by turning it narrow -side toward the front of the tub and then try to sit and straddle it. It is better than nothing but would be SO much better if the legs weren't too widely spread out. 3Not worth itWorks okay. Legs never screwed in ALL the way. Been using it since march. About once a week while using, legs move, it tilts to one side, and you almost fall out of it. Legs have to be tightened but it'll just happen again in a week. 3Does not hold the weight it is rated forI got this seat because it was rated for 300 lbs. I'm just under... The first time I used it, it began to lean. I thought maybe it was the tub so I turned it around. I was wrong, it was the seat. One of the legs was turning in on itself. I can't send it back because I bought it ahead of time so it's been a few weeks. This seat is not stable for people over 200 lbs. Don't waste your money... 1DANGER! AVOID IT! RETURN IT IF YOU BOUGHT IT!This is a dangerous product, with basic engineering faults that make it not only likely, but certain to deteriorate quickly. The entire balance of the seat depends on a hollow plastic bolt in the center that holds the two crossed aluminum leg parts. This bolts attaches through holes in the two crossed tubular aluminum leg parts to a hole in the hollow plastic seat.After a very limited use (possibly as often as a dozen times), and two bolt tightening sessions, the aluminum hole on one of the pieces sheared and caused the legs to twist and collapse significantly. If it were not for quickly grabbing the hand rail in the shower, I would surely have suffered a bad fall.THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE MARKET IMMEDIATELY. 1Will not fit in my bathtub. :(I have a NORMAL size tub and it will not fit. The seat is too wide. The picture shows it fitting with no problem but THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM! If you have a normal bathtub that is over 20 years old, DON"T buy this seat; it will not fit. 1Collapsed on us on the first try.We tried this after my husband became suddenly disabled. It's supposed to handle 300 pounds and he weighs 180. First time we tried the legs splayed out and it almost collapsed. Sent it back and got a more sturdy (and less expensive) one. I believe that I put it together as described and had it tightened up well. 1
