Great teaGreat flavor, good packaging, great price point.This is Darjeeling tea, it is a light tea. If your review is poor bc it is a light tea then you are not properly reviewing Darjeeling tea. It would be a great review if you rated it low because you ordered a stout dark black tea and instead got a Darjeeling quality. I suggest you do your homework before you buy something so you aren't disappointed.5Tea snob loves itPlease keep in stock. So hard to find tea in the US, and this is flavorful. The tea is loose, in dried leaves, not those nasty little balls. I have been a tea drinker since I was very young, and must say this is one of the best I have found here. A true enough Darjeeling.5Decent loose leaf blendThis a Darjeeling blend in 100g tin (3.5 ounces) for $6.80 currently. For retail packaging and for the price - decent flavor, and quite fresh. If you don't have a local place to buy your tea this is a good alternativeIt certainly not the "best darjeeling" tea as stated in some other reviews.You can certainly get a far better loose leaf single origin Darjeeling tea from a local tea vendor at a competitive price. For example, at a similar price you can get 4 oz Singbulli Estate first flush Darjeeling for $ 6.65 (at Chado tea ) which has a far better flavor.You can pay a lot more for better varieties and for the tea aficionado, it would be worth it4This didn't taste like Darjeeling. Possibly decaf2Great valueI really like Ahmad's Darjeeling. The leaves are more complete than Twining's, and that has proven to produce a tea with more dimension. It's really interesting that made light, I sense some cardamom (not there in fact), and made strong, it's another tea entirely. This tea lacks that part of the tannins that cause a bitter aftertaste at the back of the palate. This is a pretty impressive tea considering how cheap it is. Moderately strong, and has a fairly complex flavor. If you drink a lot of quality loose leaf tea, you may not find this to be that impressive. But for what it is, it's pretty damn good. As they say in the description don't ruin it by adding milk, pick up something else for that.To me, the main downside is that Ahmad's limited selection of loose leaf teas all seem to have a pretty common backbone of flavor (from the Ceylon sourced tea...? from the processing method...? i don't know, i am not that knowledgeable). They seem to be budget oriented at the core and I'm not blaming them for that. But do be aware that if you purchase several different types of teas from them, they will have a similar taste.
